Campaign Update
When you contribute to United Way of East Central Iowa’s Community Impact Fund, you strengthen our communities by nurturing children and youth, supporting healthy families and rebuilding lives. Our $10 million goal for the 2007 United Way Campaign is based on our communities’ most critical needs and will help create positive, lasting change.
This year we’ll be launching the campaign with an official kick-off event on Wednesday, August 29th. Keep watching throughout the summer and fall for additional information or contact us if you’d like to support or get involved.
Loaned Associates
Each year, United Way of East Central Iowa is fortunate to have loaned associates to help with the campaign. Loaned associates act as account mangers by working with United Way staff for 14 weeks to plan and implement the campaign. Organizations support the Loaned Associate program by either “loaning” an employee to work for United Way or by sponsoring an individual to represent their company.
United Way is grateful to the many organizations in our communities that have supported the Loaned Associate program. The loaned associates are critical to the success of the campaign and United Way’s ability to strengthen our communities. If you are interested in becoming a loaned associate, please contact Allison Antes at 398-5372 x 17 or aantes@uweci.org.
