2008 Business of the Year Award
Each year during United Way’s Volunteer Recognition event, an outstanding company in the community is recognized with the Business of the Year Award. The recipient of this award consistently possesses dedication and commitment to the community by supporting United Way, displaying and executing a “model” campaign, actively promoting a leadership giving culture and exhibiting a professional leadership team that executes the campaign.
There are so many dedicated organizations that we always have difficulty narrowing down the list. This year was even more difficult to decide, so we presented two Business of the Year Awards to The Hall-Perrine Foundation and Penford Products Co.
