Funding Opportunities
One of United Way of East Central Iowa’s strategic plan goals is to evolve UWECI into a Community Impact model. The funding structure that UWECI utilizes is one of many components that have been evaluated in terms of how it influences the organizations ability to achieve this goal. UWECI staff, dedicated community volunteers, and social service providers have redesigned the traditional UWECI funding model and have devised funding strategies that will be implemented in FY 2008 that will support the organizations progress towards Community Impact.
