Giving

Communities depend on leaders for inspiration and guidance and United Way depends on its leadership givers for those same qualities. United Way of East Central Iowa's success in serving our communities is directly related to the support of leadership givers.

Leadership givers are employees in corporations, small business owners, retirees, volunteers and your friends and colleagues.

For just a few dollars a week, you can become a leadership giver. Many donors combine their gift with a gift of another household member to become a member of one of United Way’s leadership giving societies. If you would like more information on becoming a leadership giver, contact Aileen Simmons at 398-5372 x 21 or asimmons@uweci.org.

Becoming a leadership giver is a tremendous way to make a substantial impact in the lives of others and in our community. Please consider being a part of one of the following Leadership Giving Societies.

Young Leaders Society
William B. Quarton Society
T.M. Sinclair Society
Alexis de Tocqueville Society
Women's Leadership Initiative
Labor Leadership Giving Society
