Your Dollars at Work in Fiscal Year 2007 (July 2006 – June 2007)
Your investment in UW improves lives and strengthens our communities. Dollars are distributed based upon research data and a thorough review of agencies and programs to assure your investment is getting to the heart of our communities’ most critical needs. The following chart reflects how your investment has been distributed from July 2006 – June 2007.
Your Dollars at Work in Fiscal Year 2008 (July 2007 – June 2008)
Your investment in UW improves lives and strengthens our communities. Dollars are distributed based upon research data and a thorough review of agencies and programs to assure your investment is getting to the heart of our communities’ most critical needs. The following lists the funding strategies that will be implemented from July 2007 – June 2008.
Partner Agency Funding
An investment in UW helps fund health and human service agencies that meet our communities’ most pressing needs. The process for reviewing programs and forming funding recommendations will occur from February 2006 – June 2007. Fiscal Year 2008 partner agency awards will begin July 1, 2007.
County Donor Option
Some individuals who invested in United Way in 2006 chose to designate their gifts to one of the five outlying counties served by United Way of East Central Iowa. UWECI will operate a grant cycle for each county. The grant cycle will begin in September 2007 and awards will be granted in December 2007.
