Julie, a single mother of two, works full-time but sometimes the family lives paycheck to paycheck. Her previous childcare provider strained Julie’s resources and more importantly, she knew her children weren’t receiving quality care.
Julie wanted something better…and she found it: Waypoint’s childcare programs. Thanks to funding from United Way, Waypoint offers a sliding-fee scale to families that qualify.
Julie never dreamed she could afford the kind of licensed, quality care that Waypoint provides. Her children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to play and explore and have structured learning activities; all of which helps prepare kids for school.
The children love it, and Julie is able to be a full-time contributing member of the workforce. The children have been part of Waypoint for three years now, and they – and their mom - couldn’t be happier.
