Senior Manager, Annual Giving & Engagement

United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to lead and expand fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Managing successful resource development activities including the annual campaign and year-round giving.
  • Analyzing and utilizing data to understand trends and create or update strategies.
  • Engaging staff and volunteers in innovative and collaborative efforts to increase revenue and donor retention.

This role requires effective decision-making, relationship management, and communication and presentation skills; demonstrated success in fundraising, especially overseeing annual campaigns; experience in leading fundraising program development from vision to implementation and expansion; and the ability to evaluate new and existing opportunities to ensure quality and achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications include a minimum of five years of experience in resource development with direct fundraising experience and/or donation solicitation in a nonprofit environment, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role.
