Celebrating Women United and their impact
This year’s Women United Luncheon event was held on May 18, 2026. The event brings together women from across East Central Iowa to celebrate the power of collective giving, hearing inspiring stories of impact and stronger communities for women and families.

This year, we had the honor to hear from 3 Women United members:

- Lee Clancey – Women United Charter Member
- Erica Bergfeld-Reed – Women United Vice Chair
- Lois Buntz – Former UWECI CEO, Panel Moderator
The panel discussion celebrated 20 years of Women United by reflecting on its past, celebrating its present, and looking ahead to its future. Panelists shared how Women United was founded to address the critical need for women’s health, the personal and professional impact of membership, and the many ways women can continue to lead, volunteer, invest, and advocate for healthier stronger communites.
