Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

We organize VITA to assist income-eligible individuals in the community with completing their taxes. This service not only assists individuals but helps bring money back into the community each year.

211 is a free, comprehensive information and referral system linking Iowa residents to health and human service programs, community services, disaster services, and more. 211 is a one-stop source of information for services.

Transportation Program

Transportation Program

The Benton and Jones County Volunteer Centers work with volunteers to provide volunteer driven rides to non-emergency medical appointments.

SHIIP

SHIIP

The Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) provides free counseling and information to people with questions about Medicare, Medicare supplement insurance, long term care insurance, and claim filing.
