Linn County Volunteer Center

Making a difference in Linn County

The Linn County Volunteer Center (LCVC) mobilizes individual and company volunteers to meet the critical needs of our community.  Volunteers in Linn County help with a variety of programs such as:

  • 55+ :
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) connects volunteers age 55 and better with volunteer opportunities to maximize community benefit.
  • Volunteer Reception Center:
Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) serves as a point of mobilization, registration and referral for spontaneous, unaffiliated volunteers who emerge in response to a disaster.
  • VITA:
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a national IRS sponsored program that helps you receive your maximum federal and state tax refunds. If your household income is less than $64,000, you may qualify for VITA’s services.

For more information about these programs, please fill out the form below or contact Elizabeth at Elizabeth.Skaff@uweci.org or call (319) 398-5372 ext. 846.
