Give Through your IRA
If you are age 70½ or older and have a traditional IRA, you may be able to support United Way of East Central Iowa through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
For individuals who are required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), a QCD can count toward that requirement while avoiding the taxes typically associated with IRA withdrawals. Most importantly, your gift goes to work right away, helping United Way address our community’s most pressing needs and advance opportunities for individuals and families across East Central Iowa.
