You can use gift planning — including bequests, life insurance policies, and retirement fund assets — to provide meaningful support for your community through United Way of East Central Iowa. A legacy gift is a way to plant a seed that will grow for generations to come, while also offering tax benefits to you and your relatives. You will also become a member of our Touch Tomorrow Society.

If you make plans to endow your annual gift, you’ll be a donor to United Way campaigns in perpetuity and become part of the Whipple Legacy Circle. This program allows donors to make a gift to United Way’s endowment fund, and each year a portion of the fund’s annual earnings become a gift to the campaign.
